Whilst her lyrics set out on broad themes - identity, existential angst, quarter-life-crises - Neev has a remarkable knack for discovering beauty in the small details.
Her EP ‘Currants’ was released on Trapped Animal in 2021 and played on BBC 6 Music by Tom Robinson and BBC Radio 1 on Sian Eleri's Chillest Show and Power Down Playlist. Neev also performed tracks from Currants live and televised for the BBC Introducing x Celtic Connections Showcase at Saint Luke's in Glasgow.
Neev has released her debut album Katherine, a collection of intricate indie-folk songs that pack a lyrical punch and recieved four stars from the Daily Express. Tracks from the record have already been played on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 6 and BBC Radio Scotland. Others have featured on Mark Radcliffe’s BBC Radio 2 Folk Show and named BBC Introducing Track of the week on Scotland's Travelling Folk show.
