With a driving incendiary sound that refuses to be defined or confined to any limits, FRANKY’S EVIL PARTY have rapidly become one of Scotland’s most exciting uprisings within the contemporary underground music scene. From Dumfries, their demanding of attention with their incomparable ‘sleaze-disco’ branded sound, the quintet are driven and influenced in equal measure by an exhausted musical landscape. Boasting vicious yet amphetamine anthems, FRANKY’S EVIL PARTY recorded both their debut EP, ‘LEADER’ and highly commended single, ‘BLONDE’ with Dave Miller of Circa 16 Sound Recording. Of the debut EP release, stand-out track, ‘PARADISE’ gained ardent radio support from Amazing Radio’s, Jim Gellatly and south-London’s La, from Reprezent Radio. Their chaotic and electric live performances have rewarded them with an opportunity to showcase their sound at Scotland’s largest music convention, Wide Days, where they were deemed by BBC Scotland’s, Vic Galloway as “absolutely mental”. Their rocketing reputation has allowed them to play a run of quality live shows in their current hometown of Glasgow, at the likes of Broadcast, Nice ’N’ Sleazy and King Tuts Wah Wah Hut. As well as storming some large festival appearances at Electric Fields, XPO North, Stag and Dagger and Tenement Trail. Further south, 2019 has already seen two sell-out shows in both Nottingham and London.

The rest of this year will see FRANKY’S EVIL PARTY release more gut-punching offerings by their tightened angst and disenfranchised background, as well as continuing their sonic assault across the national grid. United by an undeniable struggle and tongue-in-cheek sensibilities, they must push for more.

FRANKY’S EVIL PARTY are: Josh Kirk, Max Thomson, Meg Dickinson-Hood, Jordy Bigham and Elias Muusavi.
